Our stay became one of the most memorable parts of our trip to San Francisco. We booked the King Suite, and it felt like stepping into a beautiful Victorian dream. The elegant décor, antique picture frames, rich drapes, and beautifully made bed created such a warm, timeless atmosphere. Everything was spotless, and we especially loved the charming window in the bathroom—it added so much character. The true highlight, though, was the incredible hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Manoj, who greeted us with the warmest smile and genuine kindness. He even shared some of the fascinating history of the building before it became a hotel, which made us appreciate this special place even more. We were treated like family, not just another reservation. The hotel is peaceful, elegant, full of history, and has so much charm. It honestly felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. And they have bottled water and hot coffee for guests at all times. We’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but the Hotel Majestic is one we’ll never forget. Thank you, Manoj and the entire team, for making our family trip so wonderful. See you again soon!
We had a fantastic stay and honestly can't say enough good things about it. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing trip. But the real highlight was the front desk staff, especially Manoj. He was hands down the nicest, most genuinely helpful person we've ever encountered at a hotel. From check-in to check-out, he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, offered great local recommendations, and just had this warm, welcoming energy that made the whole stay feel special. It's rare to come across that level of hospitality. Between the great room and Manoj's incredible service, we will absolutely be booking here again the next time we're in town. Highly recommend!
Amazing experience at this hotel. The front desk person named Manoj was one of the nicest and most caring humans we have ever met in our lives. My partner was getting a surgery in the area and we had some specific accessibility requirements that were no problems at all. The staff was very accommodating and incredibly friendly. The included breakfast was amazing and the waffle machine was absolutely delicious. The rooms were clean, quiet, and very beautiful. If we ever travel to this area again, we will 100% be staying here. This was a 10 out of 10 experience for me and my partner.
A hidden gem! Beautiful old hotel near Japantown in San Francisco. The room was large, with decent views, and a four poster bed. It's an old hotel, but it's kept immaculately clean. The breakfast is in a spacious dining room. There's no valet parking, but there's a public lot a few blocks away on Sutter that's only $35 for 24 hours of parking.
We stayed here for two nights, and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, and the interior was beautiful, featuring a charming vintage style. We would give this hotel 4.5 stars because, overall, it provided a wonderful sense of comfort and felt like a home away from home. A few areas could be improved. The breakfast was quite limited and repetitive, with very little variety from day to day. Also, slippers were not provided in the room, which would have been a nice addition. Overall, we had a pleasant experience
