You know what you are getting when you book a motel like this so don't expect it to be a Holliday Inn. It was clean, shower was fine, bed was good enough and the price was right. I didn't have any issues with the staff like others have mentioned. My car was never messed with and there were NO bugs which is a big plus. I was surprised to see that they had an elevator, most motels like this don't and my wife has difficulty walking so that was a big bonus. Across the street from this motel are a ton of resturants and a super duper burger which is amazing. They are also a couple short blocks from one of the big bus tour stops so that is nice.
My room was clean and smelled good! I had two queen beds, both came with 3 pillows each. Room came with a working Mini-fridge and microwave. Bathroom was roomy, water came out hot right away and they had large soft towels to use. They also provide shampoo and body wash incase you forgot . The area is nice with lots of shops and no shady characters wandering around. They have FREE parking, which is a huge plus as well. I will stay here again and besides staff was really nice.
It's cheap. It's the best location for a tourist hitting the major points in the city. The area feels safe ! The fridge and tv work , the bed is comfy ( not luxurious). The bedding is nice actually . The bad: the bathroom is slanting significantly and it feels like I'm falling when I'm in there. The AC rattles loudly at high speed. The light went out during an earthquake and I had to show the manager how to reset a circuit breaker. Google says breakfast. There is no breakfast. The parking fills up fast and lots of people seem they never leave.
Note, I'm rating based on the type of motel and the price. The staff is generally helpful, the rooms are clean and really nice for the price. The hot water for the shower heats up fast and is easy to control temp. Further plus to this place... IT HAS SMOKING ROOMS!!! Lots of restaurants nearby, including a Super Duper Burger one block away!
