Description

We will pick you up from your hotel in downtown or Fisherman's Wharf to go on a city tour. Get a comprehensive look at San Francisco and learn some city history along the way. The 4-hour-long city sightseeing tour is in a smaller bus/van and goes through multiple neighborhoods, many with outstanding views. Your guide shows you Nob Hill, Union Square, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, North Beach, Financial District, Embarcadero, Golden Gate Bridge, and more. We will make multiple stops, and our guide will help you take beautiful pictures. Each guide has a different route, but they all show you major attractions. Ask the guide where you want to visit the most! Also, you don't need to waste your time in line to buy tickets to one of the most frequently visited attractions in San Francisco- Alcatraz Island and the federal prison there. After doing the city tour, our driver/guide will bring you to Pier 33, Alcatraz Landing. We reserve the right to buy tickets to Alcatraz in the morning and do the city tour in the afternoon. Then you have to get to Pier 33 on your own, after the Alcatraz tour, we will pick you up from Pier 33 and we will bring you back to your hotel after the city tour. The total length of the tour is about 8 hours: 4 hours is a city tour, then you go to Alcatraz on a boat and can spend as much time there as you want. The ferries back to Pier 33 depart every 30 minutes. Sometimes we have to do the city tour in the afternoon since the tickets to Alcatraz are only available in the morning. In this case, you will have to get to Pier 33 by yourselves, and we will pick you up from there at 1.45 PM to go on the city tour, after which we will bring you back to your hotels.
