Very cool place to listen jazz and also to dance and drink
The new, reopened Deluxe is roomier without the booths and there was a good crowd for Wednesday evening. The cover was only $5 and the music was great. Ordered a $7 beer from the menu and bartender brought to me and said it was $8. When I asked why it was a dollar more than the menu, she said, “tax”. When I ordered the next beer, the other bartender only charged me $7, so be aware of the woman extracting a tip from you because she assumes that you won’t give her one.
So glad this place has reopened!!!!! It looks fantastic, dare I say even better than its previous iteration? Perfect re-addition to Haight St.
