Hilton San Francisco Union Square
San Francisco
Reseñas
This was our first time visiting San Francisco, and we arrived late in the evening. We chose this hotel as our first stay, and overall, it was a beautiful property. We had a roof rack on top of our vehicle, and when we checked in, the front desk informed us that valet parking for oversized vehicles would be $80. That wasn’t an issue. However, when it came time to park, we were told we had to drive our vehicle two blocks away to another hotel because they could accommodate oversized vehicles. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the other hotel, they had no idea we were coming and didn’t know how to handle the parking since we had already paid the Hilton. It turned into a very frustrating experience that took over an hour to sort out. Aside from the parking situation, the hotel itself was wonderful. Our room had beautiful city views, and we really enjoyed our stay. The valet process, however, was disappointing and inconvenient, especially having to drive our own vehicle elsewhere after paying for valet service. A special thank you to Manager John for stepping in, helping resolve the situation, and making things right. His customer service was greatly appreciated.
Loved staying here. Spacious king room on the 19th floor, wonderful staff, great spaces, good enough gym and pool. Room was always attentively cleaned, and the bar was very nice too. It is true that the hotel has a somewhat retro taste and is starting to be a bit old, but I actually enjoyed it and it made it feel cosy and nice.
Jalen at the front desk of the Hilton Union Square really made my check-in special. He was so kind and attentive right from the start — took care of everything smoothly and shared some helpful tips about the area. The whole front desk team was efficient and friendly too. The hotel is in a perfect spot near Union Square, clean, and comfortable. Jalen’s genuine welcome stood out and made me feel truly cared for. I’d stay here again because of experiences like this. My only real complaint was that the rooms didn’t have any usb ports, otherwise we had a stunning view from our hotel room.
I will start by saying the service in general was great from the check in staff. They made great recommendations and expained the area well. However, car fees for guests that stay at the hotel around $70 per day. I know charging for parking is typical for the area but to charge so much for guests is disappointing. The other issue I had was the smaller than typical bed sizes (smaller than queen). Other than that the room was clean and again the staff was great.
