My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Griffon while we were in San Francisco for the marathon. This charming, quaint hotel was perfectly located and very convenient for everything we needed. Our room was small, but it was comfortable, cozy, and just right for two people. We also really enjoyed the hotel’s bar and dining options, as well as the coffee and sweet pastries offered in the morning—a lovely way to start the day. The hotel has beautiful views, a welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of character. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return on our next visit to San Francisco!
Our experience has been good. The staff are really nice. We booked an ocean view but did not get the view.. not the biggest deal but was disapointing at first. The hotel does not have any place to warm up food. This was the downside for us as our son is one and we were not able to heat up leftovers for him so we just ordered different things from the restraunt for him for each meal. They were able to provide hot water for oatmeal and things like that. Location is great, close to the water and easy to walk around to different places.
This is the second time I've stayed here and the staff and location is first class. The rooms are cozy and the offer coffee and pastries in the morning. Walking distance to a lot of fun stuff and great eats. The only thing is that I wish the rooms had more ventilation because after a nice shower the rooms feel damp and stuffy. The window in the room opens but not enough to really get any air flow going. But overall a great stay
Had a wonderful stay here! There were four of us, four rooms and we each had an incredible experience. Gladys, at the front desk was remarkable. The hotel is conveniently located, right by the bay with many divine restaurants located within walking distance. I had a wonderful morning stroll by the bay. The restaurant in the hotel has a great ambiance with very good cocktails. Highly recommend!
