We've been here ~6-7 times in the last year. They make fantastic cocktails & the food is surprisingly good, but service is often very slow. The drink menu is fun & tropical leaning but with some drinks that pack a serious punch. If you don't like what you see, they'll make anything you want & they'll do a great job! I wish the menu would shift a little bit - I don't think it's changed since the first time we visisted. It can be hard to get your order in & even if standing waiting for awhile, it'll often to awhile to get the attention of the bartender. This hasn't been isolated to a single bartender, it's just kind of the general experience. If you're not bothered by slow service and want great drinks, go here!
Came on a Tuesday night visiting from Boston and the place is beautiful and had live jazz. Not too busy and not too quiet. It was a perfect evening and the bartender was great! Happy to have stopped by
We grabbed a drink at For The Record while waiting for our dinner reservation nearby. I really appreciated the casual yet still upscale vibe, tons of seating, and helpful bartenders. The dirty martini we got was inventive and strong, and the overall experience was top notch.
I had an absolutely incredible mezcal cocktail at this bar — it was truly unforgettable. The flavor was bold yet perfectly balanced, with that smoky mezcal depth complemented by fresh, vibrant notes. Every sip felt thoughtfully crafted, and you can tell the bartender really knows their craft. If you’re a fan of mezcal, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for another one!
Fun little bar with a decent collection of cocktails! I got the mezcal one which was a beautful color, a bit sweet for my taste but overall nice. The bartender was wonderful! Just wished that the kitchen opened earlier than 5 (we were there around 3:30) as we were unable to try their mozzarella sticks (which my friend was raving about!) Will have to check them out next time.
