Edit: Adding a star for the business receiving my feedback with openness! Great vibe, but left with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. I wasn't drinking alcohol at the time, so was really excited to see Mexican Squirt ($5) on the menu. They opened the bottle in front of me and poured about half of it into a glass full of ice, then gave me the glass, but kept the bottle (uncapped, unrefrigerated in the speed rail). A significant portion of the fun of a Mexican soda is the beautiful, tall bottle. On top of that, if they aren't selling the rest of that bottle in the next 20 minutes, it's going to waste. Either give me the bottle or, if you're not happy with the 70% gross profit margin, charge me a little more.
Hidden gem in the Sunset. Cocktails are absolutely the best in the district. Original. Unique. And most of all, reasonably priced. OB regular. My favorite spot in the city! Don't sleep on White Cap, or if you do, more for me! Photo is my cocktail is a classic surfer on acid ~ must try!!
I'm 4 months into living in the outer sunset area and I've always had it in my head that I had to head much closer into central SF or into the downtown area for a good cocktail. So overjoyed to have learned about White Cap from a friend. Love the location (30 min walk from home), the decor and the friendly staff. Adam, Darcy & Natty made my visit on a Saturday evening a treat. Drinks were great; lots of variety, clearly a lot of care put into their design. Steady flow of locals coming/going and just felt really comfortable and enjoyable to sit and talk with the staff, other patrons or just read. Looking forward to this being my new neighborhood (cocktail) bar.
