Great local old time SF Saloon/“Dive-Bar”. I can’t really call it a dive bar, because it’s really not, but it has that old dive bar feel. It’s more of a local’s saloon. We learned about the 500 club from the Internet, of course. So, we had to stop in and check it out for ourselves. First of all, the sign outside is amazing. Now getting past the window dressing…. Well, OK, maybe not. The window coverings are also awesome with the 500 club design. We went in on a Saturday night during the World Cup. The bar was absolutely packed with a veritable assortment of local folks. The music is loud and awesome. Even if we had it hear Frank Sinatra sing New York, New York several times. At least I did not have to hear What’s New Pussycat Seven times in a row, only to be relieved with a It’s Not Unusual. If you get the joke. The bartenders handle the crowd amazingly and even though I was not a local, they spotted me through a crowded bar and got me the drinks we wanted. They make a stiff and solid drink. This is not your usual Measured to order drink, but rather just poured in a glass by a bartender who knows how to make a stiff drink. The prices are totally fair. The people in the bar are friendly, and even if you’re not a local, they’ll welcome you in Like you are. I understand that new owners took over the place, but it still remains an amazing vibe. They kept the Photo Booth, And all the fixings. Let’s keep it a SF secret!
Chill neighborhood bar. Decently priced drinks. Nice people hanging out at the bar and talking to each other. Totally recommend. Extra point for the OG light sing outside.

I stopped in to see a friend. Quaint location with fresh hand made drinks to order. Corey was a great bartender. Made bloody Mary's, with fresh ingredients. If u live in the area this place is a total recommend. I'll go back again when in the area. I don't think they have food. But I saw there is a pizza place coming in next door, NY style pizza can't wait to try it. This is a nice spot to have a great drink.
