Despite "no minimum spend" owner will be angry if you rent the bar and do not pack it with people. I booked out half the bar two weeks before an event, and two days later let the owner know there wouldn't be as many people as I was expecting and asked if a refund was possible. He said no. Night of, nothing indicates that half the bar should be designated for our group, so at the end of the night I ask again if a refund is possible. He says "you lost me a lot of money tonight." I gave him two weeks notice about lack of people and the only thing he did was not designate an area in the bar for us, which is what I paid for. Don't blame me for your business decisions.
This is a bar that serves wine, cider and beers. An amazing fleck in the beer for that matter I've been. This is not a restaurant. However, you can bring your food from next door restaurants to go and sit and enjoy here.
