Absolutely brillant atmosphere and place to hang out, shout out to my fellow bears from berkeley for making the most memorable nights at Monroe
If you’re planning a night out at Monroe, I’d definitely recommend considering bottle service. The lines can get seriously long and wait times are no joke, so having a table makes the whole experience way smoother. One thing I actually respect about this place is they run a very tight door. Don’t show up too drunk, way underdressed, or with the wrong energy because they really don’t play around. I’ve seen groups get turned away for dress code and guys with aggressive vibes not make it inside. Honestly, that’s probably why the atmosphere inside is so good. The crowd is one of the best I’ve seen in SF, and it consistently has one of the best guy-to-girl ratios of any club in the city. The door team is selective, but once you’re inside it makes sense why. Great music, great energy, and bottle service is definitely the move if you want the full experience.
Monroe SF is easily one of my favorite venues in the city. The staff is always friendly, the space is clean, the sound is incredible, and the DJs never disappoint. The bartenders make great cocktails, and the overall vibe is always on point. Highly recommend checking it out!
Mauricio is an amazing security guard- kept me and my girlfriends safe. They have a dress code and try to maintain a good vibe in the club. If you should up dressed down or have a bad vibe, you will get rejected. Theres a reason they're popular and always have high demand for entry.
