I had an amazing stay at The Metro Hotel this week. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. I had a room overlooking Divisadero. It was great for me because I could open the windows and blinds when I wanted to hear and see the city. If not, they lock and close easily to give you peace. The blind function built into the windows for privacy as well is top tier. Not to mention the high ceilings. Easy to get to all of my favorite spots in my old neighborhood. Also the 24 bus or a quick Lyft got me to UCSF Mount Zion to be able to go back and forth from visiting my mother. Thank you to the staff and The Metro Hotel overall for all class stay. Thank you to Ashley especially for helping with the last minute booking arrangements!
Really enjoyed our stay at The Metro. Perfect location for us near many great restaurants and shops and ideal for easy access to the gorgeous Panhandle park and extraordinary Golden Gate Park. The hotel attendants were quite friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. The room was quiet and clean making us feel super comfortable during our stay. We didn’t use it but the patio in the back is a wonderful bonus!
A fun small hotel. Very helpful and friendly people. Our room was small (we were not in it all that much) but bigger rooms are available. Nice bathroom. No elevator so big luggage might be an issue. Good eating spots within walking distance. (The Grind. Nepa.) Also an easy walk to the Panhandle and Golden Gate Park.
Great location - lots of nice food spots and walk to The Independent. Tastefully decorated and it was very clean, which is huge for me. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I didn't want to get up, lol! Would stay again and again, hope to be back soon. Front desk is friendly and informative. Also, Lil chocolate snack and very yummy tea assortment in the lobby was much appreciated.
This place is absolutely perfect. The location is great, it’s a super cute cozy little spot. My fiance and I have stayed here multiple times, and they are the nicest most accommodating people I’ve ever met. We got engaged last year in SF, and they were so sweet giving us a hand written congratulations card along with some chocolates, and flowers. Super personable people and honestly I can’t recommend them enough! Here’s a pic from our surprise engagement shoot last year. Thanks to Ashley and the team for helping make that day even more special for us!
