It's a budget motel. Excellent location, my room was clean, comfortable and quiet although outdated and painted mustard yellow with unpainted patches on the wall. Good shower pressure, TV, comfortable bed, refrigerator, microwave, complimentary coffee. I would stay again.
I've stayed here a bunch of times over the years. It used to be a decent value but sometime this year prices essentially tripled for no apparent reason. The rooms are somewhat in disrepair but the beds are overall very comfortable. Several times I've gotten a room with a broken heater and absolutely froze to death all night as the office said there was nothing they could do about it. Seems like they could have at least provided a space heater or some extra blankets. The manager and housekeeping staff are very friendly. Other desk staff are a mixed bag. There's one older fellow who works the night shift that seems like he needs a vacation but I suppose he puts up with a lot. As far as security goes, I'm not even sure if they have any. Yes there are people that wander the halls at night but I've never known them to bother anyone and some have been pretty friendly. All in all I would recommend this hotel if their prices were more realistic for a 2 star hotel, but as it is you're better off saving a few dollars and staying at a nearby 4 star hotel.
