My friends and I recently took a trip to San Francisco and stayed here for three nights, and I can honestly say our experience exceeded all expectations. The hotel was incredibly clean, and the room was spacious and comfortable for the four of us. The location was absolutely perfect—beautiful, central, and within walking distance of so many of San Francisco’s attractions. There was also plenty of parking, so we never had to worry about finding a spot. I especially want to recognize the amazing staff. During our stay, our car battery died, and I was understandably stressed since we had driven all the way to San Francisco on a road trip. I went to the front desk for help, and JJ immediately jumped into action. She quickly radioed Tito, who came out to help us. Both JJ and Tito were incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and I can’t thank them enough for their kindness. While they were helping us, another guest even offered to help jump our car, which really speaks to the welcoming atmosphere of this hotel. It felt like more than just a place to stay—it felt like a safe, caring community for travelers. Thank you to JJ, Tito, and the entire staff for making our trip so memorable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in San Francisco, and I will absolutely be staying here again the next time I visit!
This is probably the best hostel in SF and I’ll tell you why. First of all, they have a parking garage. This is the only hostel in the city that offers this, much less the world. The staff is always friendly and I think they recently added a patio. The marina is a very walkable neighborhood and there’s public transportation to everywhere you want to go. Did I mention they have a garage? What’s not to like???
Overall really great! Beautiful and comfy rooms, decent privacy, lovely balcony in the female only dorm, cozy patio space, etc.! The staff were lovely, shout-out to my guy Trevor for going above and beyond for me and my friend! 🙌 Good security with great on-site parking, a good location in town, and overall a great place! They also offer free breakfast, it's pretty mediocre, but free food is free food, so I call that a win!
We stayed here for two nights while exploring San Francisco. We experienced some issues when checking into our room, since the room assigned to us was still in use, but it could all be resolved and we got another room. Although the hostel is located next to a big street, we didn't hear any traffic noise (this might depend on where the room is located in the building). Breakfast was okay, there were bagels with jelly and yoghurt. Be aware that there is no kitchen in the hostel, only a toaster and a microwave, so make sure to plan accordingly. We had a great time there and would definitely come back ☺️
