This hotel has a great location within walking distance to many area attractions or hotspots. The iconic cable car trolley runs along the front of the hotel. Rooms were clean and very spacious, and housekeeping provided plenty of free bottled water & welcome treats. Service was great, from the free morning coffee, to the front desk, to the bartenders and valet attendants, and all staff in general; they were friendly, courteous and welcoming. The hotel guests were happy and friendly too, and just made for a comfortable experience all around. Thank you Omni San Francisco 😁

Location was good very close and walking distance to a lot of stuff. But for being part of the Omni hotels, this hotel/rooms needs major upgrades. Instantly upon walking into the room it’s smelled. It just smelled old and like the carpet hadn’t been cleaned in a good while. The air conditioning wasn’t the best. The shower head would not adjust causing so much water to get all over the restroom. The bed needs to be changed out due to major dents and not being firm. Pillows were flatter than ever. Service was good but didn’t feel like a high end hotel.

Five star stay! I stayed here with my two teenage daughters and we couldn’t have had a better stay. The room was beautiful and the service was amazing. They had everything prepared for a movie night with my girls, which was so thoughtful. We had breakfast room service and it was actually the best food we had in San Francisco! Avocado toast, açaí bowl, and Nutella French toast. They helped with luggage storage while we shopped in Chinatown and visited sights. And the communication before and after our stay was Four Seasons level. Special thanks to Britt who went so out of her way to make our girls’ visit to the city so special!

We recently stayed at the Omni and were very excited based on the glowing reviews. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to our expectations. Upon arrival, there were several doormen present, but no one offered assistance with the door or our luggage. The check-in experience was also disappointing. The gentleman assisting us came across as abrupt and unfriendly, and when we inquired about upgrading our room to accommodate additional beds, it felt as though we were inconveniencing him. Throughout our stay, the service continued to fall short. The bartenders seemed overwhelmed, particularly when taking orders for more than a couple of drinks at a time. Additionally, the guest rooms felt somewhat dated, and we were surprised to find that they did not include a mini fridge. The hotel itself is beautiful, and there is certainly a lot of potential for a great stay. However, given the price point and the reputation of the property, we expected a much higher level of service and attention to detail. Sadly, our overall experience did not meet those expectations.

We recently stayed at the Omni for a work-and-pleasure trip, and I felt compelled to leave a review because the experience was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Rico, Daryl, Richard, and Adam. The best word I can use to describe them is ownership. Each of them took their role seriously, anticipated needs, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Their professionalism was evident, but what stood out even more was their warmth and humanity. Lately, I’ve spent a lot of time staying in tech-first accommodations, Airbnbs, and boutique properties. This stay was a reminder of the value of true hospitality. There is something incredibly special about being welcomed by people who genuinely care about creating a great experience, and these gentlemen embodied that in every interaction. It honestly made me want to return to more hotel stays like this. Beyond the service, our king suite was fantastic, the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in, and our dog was treated like a VIP guest. As pet owners, those little touches mean a lot and certainly didn’t go unnoticed. All around, this was a phenomenal experience. Thank you to the entire team, and especially Rico, Daryl, Richard, and Adam, for making our stay such a memorable one. We can’t wait to come back.
