We had a lovely stay at the Marina Motel! The staff were very friendly, the location was perfect, and the beds were comfortable. Having coffee and hot cocoa in the room was a nice touch. It’s a charming building with some quirks and our room got a little hot, until we found the fan in the closet! The neighborhood is pretty loud with nightlife and loud cars - maybe some street racing? So bring your earplugs and white noise app.
Charming little motel, like a trip to Paris. It has everything one needs but it is not modern, hence the charm. Great location with free parking that is best suited to small cars. Beds are just ok but wonderful room coffee! Remodeled bathroom has my new favorite shower-well thought out.
My friend and I came here from Red Bluff, California. I’m a native to San Francisco and I know how beautiful the Marina is. This is one of the best hotels in the Marina for really good price. If your family, couple, or single person stay here. You get parking and you also get to enjoy the beautiful flowers as they have in the garden area. It almost feels like you’re in Italy. We stayed in adjoining suite. The beds are really soft and comfortable Which makes for a good night sleep. Trust me, you’ll enjoy it here
What a sweet little property. We booked it due to the proximity to the water, and how it gave a European vibe online. Wow, it is so cute when you approach the courtyard and the flowers/plants smell amazing. We had one of the family style rooms that faced Lombard Street. It was a little noisy - but when you are in the city what can you expect? All our windows opened for fresh air, even the cute little bathroom window! Very thankful for that! The beds were comfy enough and the shower was nice. We booked a "suite" that had two twin beds in the front room, and a queen bed in the back with one bathroom. The was a separating door for the two rooms and it was a great set up for us. There are multiple little convenience stores easily walking distance and felt very safe taking walks from here down to P.O.F.A at night. Would book again!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Stay! We had the BEST experience at this motel, truly above and beyond anything we expected. Martin, the manager, was incredible. We arrived with a full U-Haul and a car attached to the back — and anyone who has traveled like that knows how impossible parking can be. Martin literally circled the entire property to find us a parking spot, then personally made sure we were set and safe for the night. He even put out cones to block the road so we could park easily, and helped us carry our belongings so we could stay with our daughter and our dogs. Yes — this motel is dog friendly and they don’t just say it, they mean it. Our dogs even got treats for the road! The two ladies at the front desk were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This is hands down the best place we’ve stayed on our trip. Amazing service, amazing people. We will definitely be coming back! Highly, highly recommended.
