Great option near Hayes Street shops and cafes. Adorable concept in a three story walk-up (rooms on second and third floors). Very clean room and bathroom. Joash, virtual kiosk assistant, was very helpful throughout the check-in process.
At a good spot, clean yet small room, nice bathroom. Nothing fancy, rather functional. Good spot in central SF for sleeping a night or two.
I was worried about the check-in process, but it went pretty smoothly for me. However, the hotel was still not what I hoped for: - it was VERY loud at night; the street is busy, the windows have extremely poor sound insulation, worsened by the AC outlet; I kept being woken up by noises - the heating system was set very high at night and there was no way to set it from the room to a lower temperature - the provided WiFi was very unstable and low throughput - the rooms were nowhere near as bright as pictured, also super basic equipment only - the bed mattress was quite worn out and uncomfortable on one side
