Reviews
A mixed review for this hotel. We stayed here four nights. The cost of parking is very high approx $300. The rooms are compact but serviceable. We didn't have a view and one of the days the room wasnt cleaned. The lobby is large but this doubles up as a breakfast area and a couple of mornings there wasnt enough seating. Tea, coffee is available from a coffee machine in the lobby. There is also a gym. There isnt a bar but the hotel location is fantastic its very close to Pier 39 (about 5 minutes walk) where you can find all the bars, restaurants and shops you might want or need. The price for the hotel is reasonable for the area. Breakfast is self-service, there is limited choices of food available and two mornings they had no butter for the toast. Would I recommend this hotel to others? I'm on the fence with this one because it has good and bad points.
This hotel is located at an excellent walking distance to Fisherman's wharf and the station for the Cable Cars and a whole bunch of other activities. Trader Joe's is within a block walk. Valet parking is $65; at the hotel, however there are several parking lots available and free street parking from 7 PM to 9 AM. Hotel is clean and hot breakfast. Thought the breakfast is the same everyday, so if you are staying for a long haul, it does get very monotonous. Hotel has $32 per day Amenities fees which is not listed at the time of booking. The overnight staff could use some customer service training. We arrived later than expected and the main reception person could barely keep their eyes open. The following night, was a different lady who was probably the rudest person in SF. They probably were having not such a good day and will leave it at that. We still had a good stay Besides that, the hotel is fantastic. The location is super. The staff is good, has a small onsite gym, clean. Plenty of seating arrangements in the lobby.
Pretty good hotel with a great location, making it easy to visit many popular attractions such as Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, the cable cars, and Fisherman’s Wharf. The breakfast was decent and offered a good start to the day. The front desk staff were amazing-helpful, and accommodating. They even stored our luggage for a few hours after checkout so we could finish some sightseeing before leaving. Thank you for the excellent hospitality!
The room was clean, well kept up and comfortable. Fridge that worked and a microwave. Location is great, a couple minute walk to the Wharf and Pier 39 to watch the sea lions and get some delicious crepes and seafood. One block from the trolley stop too! Can’t beat the location. Breakfast… while it is complimentary, what you save eating here will cost you in pepto… next door is the Hollywood Cafe, great breakfast and service. All of the staff at the hotel were great. From the front desk to the room attendant they were very nice We paid around 700 for three nights, which was the best deal we found with a proximity to pier and good reviews. Parking is 65 a day and valet. When we booked we got a $50 coupon towards the first day.
Valet service attendant was great and offered to get us a luggage cart. Front desk personal was friendly and polite. Our kingside room had plenty of room, large setting area, and large bathroom. Breakfast area was very clean, plenty of tables and the breakfast was fresh. The coffee was fresh. The breakfast staffs were friendly. Great location to fisherman wrath, very walk able. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to my family and friends
