⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clean, Friendly, and Safe Hotel We had a very good experience at the Hampton Inn in San Francisco. While the area surrounding the hotel can be a little concerning due to the cleanliness of the streets and the number of homeless individuals nearby, our experience inside the hotel was completely different. The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The atmosphere inside the hotel was pleasant, and we never had any concerns regarding our safety while on the property. The only caution I would give future guests is regarding the surrounding neighborhood. I personally would not recommend walking around the area alone, particularly at night. However, if you are driving or using Uber/Lyft to get around, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Overall, the Hampton Inn provided us with a clean, comfortable, friendly, and secure place to stay in San Francisco, and the staff deserves recognition for creating such a welcoming environment despite some of the challenges in the surrounding area. We would stay here again!

Originally booked for one night, but the next morning I extended my stay at the property since my experience was amazing. Very clean rooms with high standards all throughout the property. The GM, Elmer, assisted with every question and concern I had. He always carried around a bright smile and was very friendly as demonstrated with our conversations. The rest of the staff members were friendly as well, from check in to check out. Despite the crowd around San Francisco, the property does a great job ensuring guests feel safe through security measures. I look forward to staying at this property in the near future. Thank you so much for the incredible stay, Elmer.

Rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, facilities is ok to use although the light switch is not working every time but a few tries will solve the problem. But here is the problem. I was told Apple Pay would be workable for the laundry service, but the machines required only a physical card without support coin and contactless. The hotel had no laundry card, no coins for exchange, and would not allow the charge to be added to my room. When I asked the front desk for solutions, every option above was refused, and I was literally told that “every hotel” in San Francisco is the same (no coin support either although the sign on the wall says could use coins) That felt dismissive and unhelpful. Had I known this before checking in, I may have chosen another hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. One of the best parts of the stay was the rooftop view — absolutely amazing, especially in the evening. It was a great place to relax and take in the scenery. The only downside was that the rooms were very small, especially if you have multiple bags or plan on spending a lot of time in the room. Even with that, the overall experience was still positive because of the atmosphere, service, and incredible rooftop area. I would definitely stay again.

A solid choice when staying in San Francisco, especially if you’re in town for business or events. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable overall stay. The rooms were tidy, quiet enough to relax, and had everything needed for a smooth trip. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and check-in/check-out was quick and easy. Breakfast was a nice added perk, with a good variety to get your day started. One of the biggest advantages is the location. It’s just a short walk to the Moscone Center, which is perfect if you’re attending a conference or event. There are also plenty of food options nearby, from quick bites to sit-down spots, making it easy to find something convenient without going far. While the area can be a bit busy at times, the convenience and accessibility make up for it. Overall, a dependable place to stay with great access to the convention center, nearby dining, and everything you need for a comfortable visit.
