This is a fun hotel and a great value. The historic decor makes it more special and fun than a more modern hotel. You can imagine San Fransisco businessmen smoking cigars in the sitting room during the 1930s. Plus, the beds are super comfy and the duvets are nice and s snuggly. Chinatown is an easy 15 minute walk. All in all, a great place to enjoy a trip to San Fran.
We had a great experience! We struggled to find a hotel available because of the SF marathon and the manager helped us out with a good room for a good price! They had free yummy breakfast and great service and location. The only reason for no 5 stars is because our shower drain didn’t work well and clogged easily. Otherwise great experience!
The rooms are large and clean, however we did not like that the hotel has control over the heat. We had to ask them several times to turn on the heat in the middle of the night! The only employees that were nice were the cleaning crew. Location was good for being in a city the sushi place across the street was 5stars!
We had another wonderful stay at Beresford Arms this weekend. It has an old world charm, with a beautiful lobby. The hotel rooms are quite large and very comfortable. There is wine and cheese in the lobby in the early evening, and a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The front desk employee Ms. Sami was so gracious and helpful, and helped make our stay very enjoyable.
